Ok, here are some pictures from the Halloween party I went to last night with Kathie. Enjoy!!! I had an absolutely wonderful time and met a lot of interesting and friendly people. Awesome party!!!!

Halloween Party

Good evening and Happy Halloween,

Tonight I went to my second Halloween costume party. This one is a little more on the risque side than the previous party. There were some very interesting costumes I must say. There was a guy dressed up as the Bill from Sesame Street, a priest with little kids shoes showing under his robe, King Kong and the Empire State Building, Lady Gaga in a meat dress and countless others. I dressed up as KickAss and my date Kathie dressed up as HitGirl. I had a great time needless to say. Met a lot of interesting people and truly enjoyed myself. On the way home however I got a bit of a scare as there was a sobriety checkpoint set up right on Olive as I got off of Highway 270. Luckily they were pulling every other car off to the side and I passed thru. I wasn't drunk but I did have a 2 drinks at the party so don't know what I would have blown. Anyway, I truly enjoyed myself and got to spend sometime with Kathie this week which lately has always been a plus in my book. Looking forward to seeing her next weekend for her son's going away party unless I see her before then, hopefully. I will hopefully be able to post other pictures later, unfortunately I didn't take my camera or my phone with me due to the fact that I didn't have pockets.

Rolling Right Along

Well believe it or not I will have made it 2 weeks without smoking come tomorrow morning. It's really a lot easier than I thought it would be. Sure I get urges every now and then but for the most part I really don't miss it at all. I still go outside and talk with the guys at work when they go on smoke breaks and I don't get the urge to ask them for a cigarette. I don't get any headaches or nervous twitches. This week I'm planning on starting the gym again and try to lose some weight. I'm close to 200 pounds, a lot closer than I would like to be at this point in my life. Looking to lose around 15 pounds or so and hopefully tone up a little bit.

Spent most of the day making homemade chili and watching some football games but ending up napping more than anything. Now I'm watching some of the Sunday night game with the windows open. Nice breeze coming thru the windows and it's raining which makes it very relaxing and comforting. It's been a while since I've actually been looking forward to Monday coming and getting in the office. Got a lot of things I need to clear off my plate and I plan on doing it on Monday.

Otherwise it was a very good weekend. Saturday came and I talked to my Mom and wished her a Happy Birthday and later that evening I attended a birthday party with Kathie and then a Halloween Party and met alot of her friends. This was the laid back party and this coming weekend is suppose to be a little more on the wild side from what ever has been telling me.

Big Weekend Of College Football

Well what can I say. The weekend has arrived and it's a big weekend for college football. Michigan State plays Northwestern, Auburn plays LSU, Alabama plays Tennessee and Oklahoma plays Missouri. A lot can happen to shake up the polls and create a real true log jam at the top of the polls. Other than that it's a relatively quiet weekend for me. Kathie is coming over around 6 or 6:30pm and we are going to dinner with some of her friends and then we are going to a Halloween party. This weekend's party is a little laid back as compared to the upcoming weekend which is a little more crazier. Looking forward to it, it's been a long long time since I've gone to a true Halloween party.

Well spent the day getting the truck washed, washed clothes, put the dishes away, cleaned the litter box and now I'm watching the LSU/Auburn football game. Well I hope everyone is having a great weekend and make sure you check in next weekend when I will post my Halloween costume.

Another Enjoyable Weekend Indeed - Babysitting and the Pumpkin Patch

Well, what can I say other than I had another relaxing and enjoyable weekend indeed. On Saturday, I met up with Kathie whom I've been dating and the rest of her family and went shopping for the grand kids. I got to met her mother face to face for the first time as well. We went to a little kids store and then over to Hibbet Sport's so her daugher-in-law could get a pair of shoes. We then went and had lunch at this nice little Mexican Restaurant. Can't remember the name of it but the food was great, however the service really sucked. Rob, Kathie's son, spoke to the manager and he ended up giving us the entire meal for nothing even though we all felt like we should pay for something. He was very apologetic about the whole situation and refused any payment whatsoever. After lunch, we went to Target, where I was able to find the pair of boots I needed to complete my Halloween costume. I'll make sure I post some pictures when I dress up. After that I helped her babysit her grand children will her son and his wife went out to the Haunted Forest or Fright Night at Six Flags. We sat down and partially watched Iron Man II. Then on Sunday, we all got up and went to the Pumpkin Patch for the grand kids, it was alot of fun and very enjoyable seeing them play and take pictures. After that we went for lunch and then back over to her house where I met her brother and sister in law and later on that night her aunt. I had a lot of fun listening to all of the stories, laughing and cutting up. I hated that I had to leave but everyone was tired and had to get up early in the morning. Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed myself this weekend for sure.

Rolling over to the start of the new week, I took off on Monday from work to finish cleaning my carpets in my apartment. They haven't been cleaned since I've been here and I felt it was time to do so. Was planning on doing this on Sunday but got invited to the Pumpkin Patch so I went there instead and if I had to do it all over again I would do the same thing. Each and every moment I get to spend with her makes the day that much better in my books, I just hope the same occurs for her as well.

Anyways, I've finally finished carpet cleaning, vacuuming and putting things away. Now I just have to stay on top of myself to keep it neat and nice. Well that concludes the events for this weekend. My costume came in today as well, I'm so anxious to see it and try it on I may not wait until tomorrow to pick it up at the office, may do so later today, who knows. Rolling Right Along -

Well, I've made it to day 2 of not smoking. Things are going well, however I started to wonder if not smoking had shortened my patience with things. Kinda snapped at worked texting Kathie today. Got frustrated when I asked some employee to perform a simple function and I got every excuse in the book as to why it couldn't be done when all they had to do was do it. I got so frustrated and sent a text to Kathie, whom I'm dating, and I think she thought it was directed at her but it wasn't by any means. I hope it didn't upset her, but I go so upset with them today. I have to admit however, I forgot about it rather quickly when she called me up during lunch and asked me where I was so she could stop by and give me a quick hug. That definitely made my day and made all of that anger and frustration disappear very quickly. That was very sweet and thoughtful of her to take the time out of her busy schedule to do such a thing for me.

Well other than that episode, I don't seem to miss smoking. It all kinda fell into place actually. Kathie stopped smoking about 5 weeks ago so I haven't smoked around her nor do I even want a cigarette when I'm with her. Plus this new contest started at work regarding health and weight loss, it started on Monday so I figured it would be a good time to just stop. Been wanting to for sometime, plus my chances of seeing her definitely increase which is a good thing in my book because I definitely want to see her. Well that concludes my entry for today, I'll holla at ya next time. Maybe I'll get off my lazy butt and go buy a decent camera so I can start adding some really cool pictures of my adventures :-)

Disappointing Loss For My Crimson Tide

Well what can I say, you can't win them all. My Crimson Tide lost today to South Carolina. I didn't get to see the game but looking at the highlights it just looks like they didn't come to play. The defense didn't tackle very well and they made alot of mental mistakes. The good thing is that they got a loss out of the way now and not too late in the season. I'm sure they will bounce back plus they teams that they still have on their schedule are continuing to win so it puts them in a pretty good situation to bounce back into National Title hopes if they win out the rest of their games. You can't be perfect every week and South Carolina has a really solid team this year. Spurrier has definitely gotten with the times and adapting his coaching philospy to his teams strength with this freshman tailback. Well it looks like the season is shaping up to be a really good one in the SEC. Auburn is undefeated as well as LSU and we still have to play both of them so I haven't given up on us yet. Even if we don't make it to the Title game we can dash the hopes of others, lol. Well even though my team lost, I still enjoyed my weekend spending it with Kathie and her family at the campground. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Relaxing Day At The Campground

Good morning,

I had a really enjoyable fun filled relaxing day yesterday. I spent the day at Ondondaga Cave State Park with Kathie and her family. It was alot of fun, just relaxing and resting. We went for several walks and took the hiking trail. Her son Rob grilled steaks and vegetables on the grill and then we sat around the campfire. It was nice to get away and not talk about work or the stress of day to day activities. We took a nice hike on the trail and talked about alot of things getting to know each other better. It was so relaxing and I was happy the whole time just spending time with her plus I got to meet her family and grandkids. I'm looking forward to when/if we ever get to go camping together. The weather was very nice and the campground was maintained very good. We didn't get to go on the cave tour but that was ok, I still enjoyed myself just spending time with her and I'm definitely looking forward to the next time we get so see each other.

Well that about sums up my weekend, now it's time to wash clothes, wash dishes, clean out the cat's liter box and relax and get ready for the up coming work week. Gonna be hard to get motivated to work after such a wonderful weekend. Until next time.

Exciting Relaxing Enjoyable Day

Today I had a really enjoyable day. Got up this morning had coffee and relaxed then I headed over to pick up my date to goto The Taste of St. Louis, which was very enjoyable. Weather was nice and the crowds were not that bad and I really enjoyed myself, more so because of the company that I was with. We walked around and looked at the different booths, had some Kick Ass Fries (which is what they were actually named) but not so much kick ass in our opinion, had some awesome barbeque, some very delicious fondue (Strawberries, rice krispy treats, fudge and cheesecake with White Chocolate and Milk Chocolate), so absolutely wonderful cheesecake then we went over to the Arts and Crafts show and walked around the booths there had coffee and Kettle Korn. We then decided to go to a costume store and try to get some ideas for a costume, I think we have decided on being the characters from Kick Ass the movie, she will be Hit Girl and I will either be Big Daddy or the main character Kick Ass himself, can u honestly see me dressed up in that costume, I would look like a huge super pickle. Anyways, after that I went over to her place and she gave me the grand tour and we had more coffee and watched a movie. I really enjoyed myself and I'm looking forward to seeing her again. New Beginning

I know it's been a while since I've posted anything on here, I've been bad about that and got distracted with alot of things going on. Let's see where should I begin. I've been to Philadelphia and Atlantic City which I thoroughly enjoyed. Got to see a wonderful ceremony of one of my good friends getting married. I've gone out on a couple of dates of which didn't work out the way I thought they would. I even dated someone for 5 months and realized it wasn't what I wanted. Since then I've just been working and playing video games. Went to a St. Louis Cardinal game today and got to see Tony Pizzo's daughter dance with her dance team. She really did a great job. She has grown up so much since I first met her, Tony has done a wonder job bringing her up by himself. Finally met someone that I'm very interested in. In fact, she picked me up from the game and we spent the rest of the day together shopping for her a vanity for her bathroom and fabric for her camper, then dinner and a walk thru the park. Although we have only officially been on 1 real date, brunch, a stroll thru the mall and dinner, we have met a couple of times for lunch as well as talked on the phone and I'm definitely interested. She works in IT and we have a lot of things in common. As I write this now, I actually have a date with her tomorrow to got to The Taste of St. Louis, I'm really looking forward to it to. Well that's all for now. Time for me to goto bed. Will try to post more regularly than I have in the past.
